1. Data Controller

This privacy policy covers how Unicorn Rivals (iOS app and website unicornrivals.com) collects, uses and protects your personal data. The data controller is the developer operating this service.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Website (waitlist)

• Email address — when you join the early access / waitlist form.
• IP address and browser information — via standard server logs.
• Page views — anonymous web analytics (not linked to individuals).

2.2 iOS app (game account)

• Apple Sign In identifier — to create your account and sign you in.
• Name and email (optional) — as shared by Apple; email may not always be provided.
• Game data — company name, server membership, progress, inventory, rankings and similar gameplay records.
• Purchase records — diamond packs and Founder Pass subscriptions via Apple (we never receive your payment card details).
• Device push token — to send in-game notifications.
• Usage analytics — Firebase Analytics events (e.g. sign-in, screen views, completed purchases).
• Crash reports — via Sentry to improve stability (no personal message content).

3. How We Use Your Data

• Create and maintain your game account and save progress.
• Provide multiplayer server gameplay.
• Verify App Store purchases and deliver in-game content.
• Send push notifications (investor offers, server events, etc.).
• Analyse app performance, errors and usage.
• Send waitlist announcements (website subscribers only).
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete Accountin the app. This removes your game account, related gameplay data and session information. Apple subscriptions must be managed separately in App Store settings.

5. Unsubscribing from Emails

Waitlist emails include a one-click unsubscribe link, or email privacy@unicornrivals.comwith subject “Unsubscribe”.

6. Data Sharing

• Apple — Sign In with Apple and App Store purchases.
• Supabase / Fly.io — game database and API hosting.
• Firebase (Google) — push notifications and app analytics.
• Sentry — crash reporting.
• Loops — waitlist email management (website only).
• Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell or rent your data for advertising. Data is shared only to operate the service.

7. Retention

Game account data is kept while your account is active and removed within a reasonable period after deletion. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, erase and object to processing.

9. Cookies

The website uses functional cookies and anonymous analytics only. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The iOS app does not use web cookies.

10. Children

Unicorn Rivals is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

11. Policy Updates

When this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page. Material changes may be announced in-app or by email.
