Game mechanics, startup terms, and abbreviations used in Unicorn Rivals.
- Unicorn
- A startup valued at $1 billion or more. In Unicorn Rivals, reaching $1B on your server makes you a server legend.
- Disrupt
- The game's PvP attack. Costly, risky, and limited. Success redistributes the target's resources across the server.
- Sprint
- A temporary team focus on Sales, Product, or Growth for a strong push. One active sprint at a time.
- Server
- A persistent world of up to 40 players competing on one product type. Never resets.
- ARPU
- Average Revenue Per User — monthly revenue divided by customers. A key business metric in the game.
- Burn
- Monthly cash outflow (costs). High burn with low runway threatens your company.
- Research Tree
- Permanent tech bonuses unlocked via R&D — Growth, Product, and Revenue branches.
- Routine Tasks
- Daily ops (stand-up, support, maintenance). Skipping them causes morale, churn, or quality penalties.
- Founder Pass
- Optional subscription with daily quality-of-life perks, rival intel, and advisor access.
- Spy Kit
- Consumable that reveals deeper rival information before a risky attack.
- Catch-Up
- Bonus growth for players behind the server leader. Closes gap without erasing skill advantage.
